The mouth does not close. Food and saliva often spill. The patient pleaded to be able to close the lips.

-PLAN-

It was decided to wait while massaging the chin and lips so that the soft tissue would soften, and, through regular checkups and

examinations, to determine the timing of chin reconstruction surgery.

3 months after the consultation and the start of massage, it was decided to perform chin ptosis correction (Mentalis Resuspension).

The degree of lip closure was almost unchanged from before the massage began,

but the soft tissue had softened considerably, and 5 months after the last surgery, the removal of the chin silicone implant,

ptosis correction (chin reconstruction surgery) was performed.

Although it has been only 1 month since surgery, the chin is noticeably shorter,

and the mouth can now be closed comfortably without straining.

After surgery, no effort is needed to close the mouth, so no walnut-like chin dimpling forms and the appearance is natural.

With the lips relaxed, all of the lower teeth were exposed before surgery,

but after chin ptosis correction the lower teeth are not visible and the appearance is natural.

The contrast is also clear in the three-quarter view,

and you can see that the chin has become much shorter.

In the three-quarter view with the mouth relaxed as well,

there is a marked difference in the degree of lower tooth exposure compared with before surgery.

In the side view as well, after surgery, the lips look relaxed and natural,

and you can see that the chin has also shortened.

Just as the patient had hoped before surgery, the mouth now closes comfortably

and looks natural, and the patient was very satisfied.
