Why Lisoom

Overview The key to male rhinoplasty lies in analyzing male bone structure and aesthetic standards to create a masculine nasal bridge that is thick, straight, and even.

We analyze the bone structure, skin and tissue characteristics, social environment, and aesthetic standards of men, which differ from those of women, to consider what masculine beauty means. Male rhinoplasty accounts for the largest share of cosmetic surgery among men. This shows how much greater an influence the nose has on the overall face in men than in women.
The ideal male nasal line runs in an even, straight line from the start of the bridge to the nasal tip, with an angle of 140-150 degrees between the forehead and the bridge, an angle of 90-95 degrees between the columella and the lip, and a bridge width of about 7-8 mm.

Accordingly, a thicker, straighter shape than in women is suitable. Rather than the augmentation rhinoplasty or tip plasty that women commonly have, men more often have correction of a deviated nose, dorsal hump, upturned nose, flared nostrils, or drooping (arrow-shaped) tip. In male rhinoplasty, it is important first of all that the outline of the silicone implant does not show, so that the surgery is not noticeable; the bridge should run in a straight line rather than a curved, concave slope, and a width of about 7-8 mm is appropriate so that the dorsal line is not narrow and thin.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions

We have compiled the questions patients ask most often before a consultation.

A thick, straight nasal bridge suits men, and because bone structure, skin and tissue characteristics, and aesthetic standards differ, a design tailored to men is important.
An angle of 140-150 degrees between the forehead and the bridge, an angle of 90-95 degrees between the columella and the lip, and a bridge width of about 7-8 mm are considered appropriate.
Rather than augmentation rhinoplasty or tip plasty, corrections of a deviated nose, dorsal hump, upturned nose, flared nostrils, or drooping (arrow-shaped) tip are more common.
It is important that the outline of the silicone implant does not show and that the bridge runs naturally in a straight line.
Asymmetry from a bent or crooked bridge is also corrected to a straight line, tailored to men.
The procedure takes about 60-120 minutes, recovery takes about 5-7 days, and same-day discharge is possible. There are individual differences.
