Juvelook is a hybrid that pairs immediate hydration and volume from non-cross-linked HA with collagen stimulation from PDLLA, so it is advisable to start with the understanding that the two effects appear at different times.

The collagen effect of PDLLA generally settles in gradually from about 6 weeks afterward, not right after treatment, so the result is not judged by the immediate change alone.

Unlike cross-linked fillers, PDLLA microparticles cannot be dissolved with a dissolving enzyme, so we recommend starting with a conservative amount from the outset rather than injecting a large amount at once.

Injection depth determines the result; too shallow and the possibility of nodules may increase, too deep and the collagen-stimulating effect may be reduced, so controlling depth within the dermis is important.

Topical anesthesia is used to reduce pain, but this does not mean there is no pain at all; discomfort during injection and sensitivity to pain vary between individuals.

It is usually built up as a series of 2-3 sessions spaced 1-4 weeks apart. Post-treatment reactions such as nodules and swelling, and how to care for them, are affected by depth and amount and are therefore explained during the consultation.
