        ResumAbout RESUM

        • A.

Located in Apgujeong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, RESUM Plastic Surgery Clinic is a comprehensive plastic surgery clinic offering nose and eye surgery, facelift and lifting procedures, and skin regeneration treatments.

We operate a clinical manual based on the Chief Director's academic work (publication in the Journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, presentations at international congresses, and more), and care proceeds in a consistent flow from consultation through aftercare.

        • A.

Mon & Fri From morning to evening, Tue, Wed & Thuhave separate hours, while Saturdayhave morning hours. There is a separate lunch break, so please check the time before your visit.

Exact hours can be confirmed in the operating information in the website footer, or by phone or KakaoTalk consultation.

        • A.

Through our website's Naver Booking, KakaoTalk Consultation, or by calling our main number, you can book an appointment. Scheduling your visit after a remote photo consultation tends to go most smoothly.

Consultations for revision surgery or combined procedures take longer, so we recommend booking in advance.

        • A.

Parking is available in the building, and free parking is provided for a set period. The clinic is within walking distance of Apgujeong Station and Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the subway.

        SignatureRESUM Signature

        • A.

This is RESUM's flagship program line. Rather than stopping at a single treatment, it combines Structural Improvement + Regeneration + Maintenancein a plan designed step by step.

The items and their order are adjusted according to your skin condition, structure, and goals, and an initial guide is provided during your consultation.

        • A.

While a single treatment focuses on one effect, the Signature Program combines lifting, regeneration, fillers, and boosters and other treatments, spreading them out over time.

Because care and check-ups take place together at set intervals, the schedule and costs are explained first at the consultation stage.

        SurgeryEye & Nose Surgery

        • A.

We address both functional and aesthetic concerns, including double eyelid surgery (incisional, non-incisional, and partial-incision), ptosis correction, blepharoptosis, lower eyelid fat repositioning, and upper and lower blepharoplasty.

The suitable method differs depending on each person's eye structure, skin thickness, and muscle condition, so the applicable options are explained together with a simulation during your visit.

        • A.

In rhinoplasty, the nasal bridge, tip, columella, and alar baseare assessed comprehensively, and the surgery is then planned by combining implants, autologous tissue, cartilage grafts, and other options.

The revision rhinoplasty guidance covered in the Chief Director's paper published in the Journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (PRS) is reflected in our clinical manual, and consultations are available for both primary and revision rhinoplasty.

        • A.

Yes, it is possible. Whether and how to proceed is decided after a comprehensive assessment of the condition of the existing implant and cartilage, skin thickness, and whether contracture is present.

Depending on your condition, immediate revision surgery may not be possible, so we will guide you step by step during your visit, allowing time for recovery.

        • A.

In general, swelling and bruising subside within 2-3 weeks, and it takes several months for the shape to settle naturally.

The speed of recovery may vary depending on your constitution and lifestyle, and follow-up visits are carried out according to a set schedule.

        LiftingLifting / Thread Lift

        • A.

Broadly, there are device-based lifting(Ultherapy, Thermage, laser lifting), thread lifting, surgical faceliftas the main categories.

Depending on the degree of skin sagging, the condition of your collagen, and how much downtime you can accommodate, the plan may be a single treatment or a combination of treatments.

        • A.

It is considered when you want to address sagging lines that device-based lifting alone cannot sufficiently improve, or when you want to refine your contours as a step before a facelift.

The shape of the result differs depending on the type of thread used, the direction of insertion, and the fixation method, so a plan suited to your facial contours is explained during your consultation.

        • A.

Ultherapy uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU)to create thermal coagulation points in the deep layers of the skin (including the SMAS) for a lifting effect. It is often used to tidy sagging contours.

Thermage uses radiofrequency (RF)to heat the dermis as a whole and induce collagen rearrangement. It is also used to improve elasticity and refine skin texture, and the two treatments are sometimes combined depending on the goal.

        LaserLaser Lifting

        • A.

It refers to a group of treatments that deliver laser energy to a specific depth of the skin to induce collagen remodeling and improve elasticity. The target depth and the area of effect differ depending on the device used.

It is often combined with device-based lifting (Ultherapy, Thermage) or skin boosters, and recovery time is relatively short.

        • A.

It depends on the device and intensity, but mild redness and swelling usually subside between the day of treatment and 3 days after. Some higher-intensity treatments may be accompanied by surface peeling for several days.

Sun protection and moisturizing care should be maintained sufficiently after treatment, and detailed guidance is provided during your visit.

        FillerFillers / Skin Boosters

        • A.

Fillers are used on areas that need volume correction and contour refinement, such as the forehead, temples, under-eyes, nasolabial folds, and jawline. The areas of application differ depending on the viscosity and particle size of the filler used.

Areas that need structural improvement are often planned together with lifting, threads, and other treatments rather than with filler alone.

        • A.

This is a category of treatments that deliver hydrating and collagen-stimulating ingredients directly into the dermis to address texture, elasticity, and tone together.

How a booster works differs depending on its type (hyaluronic acid-based, polynucleotide-based, collagen-stimulating, and so on), so suitable options are explained during your visit.

        • A.

On the day of treatment, it is recommended to avoid vigorous massage, hot saunas, and excessive drinking. Depending on the area treated, makeup and face-washing routines may differ for a certain period.

Detailed aftercare instructions are given 1:1 by our professional staff right after your treatment.

        Stem CellStem Cell

        • A.

They are used in areas of regenerative medicine such as skin regeneration, improving elasticity, and supporting recovery, and the scope of application and procedures differ depending on the source of the cells used and how they are processed.

Based on an international joint research agreement, RESUM continues its clinical work in the field of stem cells.

        • A.

Through a joint clinical agreement signed in 2026 with Dr. Jun Noguchi of Japan, a clinical trial of an umbilical cord blood-derived cell therapy is being jointly pursued. This is an area of research built on collaboration in international stem cell medicine.

This clinical trial is run according to separate selection criteria and procedures, so it is handled on a track separate from general care.
