Double Eyelid Surgery with Eye-Shape Correction

When it comes to eye surgery, double eyelid surgery is the first thing that comes to mind.
The main purpose of eye surgery is to make the eyes look open and well defined,
but double eyelid surgery that simply creates a crease
cannot by itself make the eyes well defined and open.
For this reason, to make the eyes look open and well defined,
the "eye-shape correction double eyelid" surgery, which adds eye-shape correction, is now performed more widely.
Eye-shape correction is sometimes understood as surgery to correct ptosis,
but in fact everyone's eyes are different, and so are the points that need correcting.

For example:
1. People whose outer corners droop and who have a lot of excess skin
2. People whose eyelids do not sag but whose outer corners droop
3. People with a narrow or wide space between the eyebrow and the eye
Eye-shape correction, which makes eyes with such different features look open and well defined,
refers to a more comprehensive surgery than simply correcting ptosis.

The woman in this case does not have short eyes, but the outer corners are slightly raised,
so the axis of the eyes slants upward and outward.
In addition, the axis and angle of the eyes differ slightly between the left and right, and the space between the eyes is on the narrow side.
The space between the eyebrow and the eye is not narrow, so there is no obstacle to double eyelid surgery,
but the eyelid skin sags and covers about 1/4 of the iris, giving the eyes a closed-in look.
We therefore decided to correct the outer corners so that they look lower, to keep the space between the eyes from narrowing any further,
and to perform surgery on the eyelid muscle so that the eyes can open clearly.
