Hiko Nose Thread Lift Side Effect Cases

This is a procedure that places barbed threads in the dorsum and columella in an attempt to increase the length and height of the nose.
Filler is also often injected along with thread insertion.

A thread broke through at the tip, leaving the skin pitted and scarred.
Hiko threads are bunched in multiple layers in the dorsum, making it hard and thick.
The nose turned upward, and the tip became red from an inflammatory response.
The dorsum and tip do not connect smoothly, and a step has formed.

The glabella is too high, the dorsum and tip look unnatural, and the tip is upturned.

In most cases an open approach is required, and because there are many threads, careful inspection is needed to remove them all.
The tip shape and bridge height are then reconstructed with autologous tissue.

Some 50 Hiko threads were taken out of the dorsum and tip,
and once they were removed, the dorsum became slim and soft.
