Revision Rhinoplasty for Combined Causes, Case 11 · Implant Side Effects, Bulbous Tip
This is a case of revision rhinoplasty for combined causes. Revision rhinoplasty is often needed for more than one reason, and correcting combined causes in a single revision surgery requires precise diagnosis and surgical planning.
Causes of Revision Rhinoplasty
01 Implant not in the correct position (deviated, shifted upward, shifted downward)
02 Implant of unsuitable shape (unattractive nasal shape that looks operated on)
03 Implant moves
11 Nose did not improve and looks more unnatural
13 Broad, flat dorsum
14 Bulbous tip
Postoperative Course
After surgery, the tip and dorsum became slim, and the crooked bridge was also straightened along its axis.
In profile as well, the sunken dorsum and bulging tip were corrected into a straight line, giving overall balance.
