Broad, Flat Dorsum and a Collapsed Tip…
The tip was wide and bulbous, making the nose look broad and flat. The bridge was also indistinct and lacked a confident, masculine look, so the following surgery was performed under general anesthesia.
Through an open approach, tip plasty (tip cartilage resection, a strut made of septal cartilage, and a shield graft), nasal bone osteotomy, septoplasty, a spreader graft, and other procedures were performed.
Overall, the bridge became straight, distinct, and well defined.
No implant was used at all; the surgery was performed purely with autologous tissue.
